It is your exclusive, private Kiteboarding lesson campus located right on Pamlico Sound, Cape Hatteras, NC. The cornerstone of our Kiteboarding school curriculum is our “Rapid Progression Method” or RPM. We developed RPM through Advisory Board input of kiteboarding Students, Professional Kiteboarders, Instructors and the most productive Kiteboarding instruction concepts of the major teaching organizations. We have traveled the World to capture the best of the best in Kiteboarding instruction. We are IKO certified, licensed, insured and hold a permit from the National Park Service to teach kiteboarding lessons on Cape Hatteras National Seashore and Pamlico Sound.

The Happy Camper                                                                        

Our Camps build your skills and knowledge from A to Z so you can be an Independent Kiteboarder. There is a lot to learn and our Camp is the best way to accelerate your skills. Spending more time on the water with your professional, experienced Kite Pro will maximize your progression. Camps are available for you as Private (1 to 1 Student to Instructor) or Semi-Private (2 to 1) with 3 or 2 day options. The 3 day camps are the most popular kiteboard lesson. Turbocharge your progress and be a "Happy Camper" today!!

3 day camps are $975 and 2 day camps are $650 per student. We provide the kite gear...you must bring booties for your lesson in the water.

Sound Advice

The Sound Advice lesson is a 3 hour kiteboarding lesson taught on the World's finest learning spot...Pamlico Sound and the BLOW KITE lesson campus here on Cape Hatteras. This lesson, like our Camps, is custom-tailored to your individual needs. If you are new to Kiteboarding and want to "test the waters" we will focus on kite control, relaunching the kite, body drag, water starts and techniques for those first rides and more. If you have taken lessons elsewhere and still need to get dialed in we will assess your current knowledge and skills and take you to the next level. Your KITE Pro will be right there with you offering immediate instruction and feedback on one of our Waverunners. A Private Kiteboarding lesson is one student with one Instructor. A Semi-Private Kiteboarding lesson is two students with one Instructor. We provide the kite gear...you must bring booties for your lesson in the water.

3 hours Private $375 or Semi-Private $550.

New to the sport of kiteboarding? This lesson will teach you how to fly the kite as well as Kiteboarder safety and responsibilities, location assessment, explanation of the wind window and how to use it, rigging, launching/landing, mock board starts. After this 90 minute kiteboard lesson you can “Just Add Water” and move onto Pamlico Sound with kite and board for "Sound Advice".

 

JAWS H2O

This kiteboarding lesson is the "Just Add Water" (JAWS) lesson taught in the water with an actual kiteboarding kite (not a trainer kite), harness and control bar. We teach with the smallest kite that the wind will support that day for your safety and progress. "JAWS H2O" can be followed up with the "Sound Advice" lesson or just book a "Happy Camper" camp which includes JAWS H2O. One student is $105 and two students are $90 each for JAWS H2O.

This hands-on, land-based classroom time is designed to give you the fundamentals needed to safely accelerate your learning curve. Topics include kiteboarding etiquette & safety, gear selection/tuning, condition-specific kite and board techniques, weather and site assessment and much more.
